Brian Heydon, a 96 year old artist from Castlemaine Victoria, held his first solo art exhibition in March 2025. A former lawyer, this incredible man began painting after he retired at 70. We pitched this story and had an incredible reaction from the Australian media. Before long the story was covered by 7 News Melbourne, Sunrise (7), ABC Central Vic (radio), ABC Melbourne (774), ABC online, the Castlemaine Mail, Maine FM and WIN News. Not bad exposure for a first solo exhibition!
